NEW VENUE FOR ALL EVENING CLASSES - Mon, Tues, Wed at Seaton Valley High School, Fitness Studio

Chair yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that uses a chair for balance or is done while seated. It's a modified version of traditional yoga that makes the practice more accessible to people with mobility issues, seniors, or those recovering from injuries. Chair yoga includes the same elements as traditional yoga, such as breathing techniques, meditation, and physical poses. I offer this on a pay as you go service in Seghill and New Hartley. Also offering classes within residential care homes.

Happi Hatha

This hour long class is perfect if you are new to yoga, have injuries or health conditions or like to practise at a slower pace. It is also accessible to intermediate level, as modifications are given to poses/ asanas. Within class the practice uses pranayama breathwork, Hatha poses/ asanas and guided meditation.

Flex and Flow

'Flex and Flow' classes have their origin in Vinyasa Yoga, which are great if you want to challenge your strength, balance and flexibility. Flow through a sequence of movement following the rhythm of your own breath. Accessible to all levels.

Sunrise

(only available in the spring/ summer months)

A gentle sunrise yoga flow designed to awaken the body, with gentle movement led by the breath.

Meditation, aromatic oils and a guided intention will softly carry you through the entire journey, allowing you to feel calm and energised for the day ahead.

The slowest of all the classes, this practice emphasises breathing techniques and meditation, promoting thoughtful and reflective yoga to promote physical and mental well being. Gentle postures that move with the breath, like a gentle Vinyasa, including restorative postures, meditation and guided breath work. We hold the floor based stretches for 5-8 minutes and some props are provided to help you find your edge within each pose. Suitable for anyone especially those experiencing joint and muscle stiffness, or anyone who needs to take time out for themselves.
